How it Works Highlander LLC School of golf uses powerful online web conferencing systems, to conduct 100% of its online instruction. To access any of these seminars all you need is a computer and a telephone. Your computer will allow you to follow the online Power Point presentation of the seminar directly on your screen, and your phone allows you to listen to the audio of the presentation. There are two systems of web conferencing that we use:
Note: Private seminars are toll free for US customers and some overseas countries. Webinars are not toll free, but cost 5 cents/minute. How to Sign up for a Seminar 1. You can sign up for a webinar or a private seminar by first selecting the topic from our Online Seminars page. 2. Once you select the seminar you will be directed to a page that gives an outline of the contents of the seminar, and the dates/times the seminars are scheduled. Note: private seminars are scheduled at a time that is convenient to the attendee and instructor. 3. Select either a webinar or a private seminar depending on your schedule and budget. If you request a private seminar you will be directed to a page that allows you to request dates and times that will be confirmed by return email. 4. Complete the registration process for the seminar and complete the payment process. Note: All seminars are paid in advance and all payments are final. Reschedules are available for private seminars only. 5. Once registered, you will receive all the log on instructions for your computer and the telephone conference number for the audio by confirmation email. Note: Highlander LLC School of Golf and its associates reserves the right to deny anyone access to a seminar for reasons that may be harmful to our business. How to Join a Presentation At the appropriate date and time, you follow three simple steps to join the presentation:
Please plan to log on to the seminar at least 3-5 minutes before the start time incase you experience technical difficulties. You can contact customer support for assistance. You may also want to download the software and practice the log on process at any time before the seminar if you are attending a seminar for the first time. System Requirements and Reference Guides PC System Requirements Required: Windows 2000®, XP Home, XP Pro, 2003 Server Required: Internet Explorer 5.0 or newer, Netscape 6.0 or newer or Mozilla® Firefox®1.0 or newer Required: Stable 56K, cable modem, ISDN, DSL or better internet connection Recommended: Minimum of Pentium 400MHZ with 256 MB of RAM Macintosh System Requirements Required: Mac OS® x10.3.9 (Panther ®) or newer Required: Safari™ 1.3 or newer, Firefox®1.5 or newer on PowerPC G3/G4/G5, or Firefox®1.5.0.2 or newer on Intel® (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled) Required: Stable 56K, cable modem, ISDN, DSL or better internet connection Recommended: PowerPC G3/G4/G5 or Intel processor (G4 450MHZ with 256 MB of RAM or better) Reference Guides You may download a quick reference guide ahead of time outlining the log on instructions and function controls you have for the seminar. Technical Problems or Seminar Cancellations Should we experience a technical problem with our web conference provider or with Highlander LLC School of Golf during the presentation that causes it to be cancelled, a full refund will be given to all registered attendees. A full refund will also be given to all registered attendees if a seminar has to be cancelled ahead of the presentation date for any reason by the presenter. It is the responsibility of the attendee to ensure their equipment is able to access the seminar ahead of time by practicing the log on process.
